The mission of the Oakland Zoo is to inspire respect for and stewardship of the natural world, while providing a quality visitor experience. At the Oakland Zoo, you can explore together, learn together, and have fun together.

Donation Opportunities

The Oakland Zoo is a not for profit organization which depends upon the support of our community. When you make a gift of any size to the Oakland Zoo, you are making a significant contribution to the sustainability of this regional asset. Your tax deductible donation will help us continue to provide outstanding care for our more than 440 native and exotic animals and to bring exceptional conservation education programs to the thousands of families and school children who visit the Zoo.
